A focus on local art and artists

The Barrymore Hotel Tampa lives and breathes the visual arts scene that is so vibrantly displayed in our city's downtown. Our hotel is situated directly next to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in the Downtown River Arts District which allows us to be immersed in the vibrant world of Tampa's art museum scene. With our passion for all things unique, we take pride in showcasing Tampa Florida’s local talent along the walls and across the grounds of our hotel from a variety of local and international artists as well.

Art around the hotel

Find art in unexpected styles throughout the grounds of The Barrymore from well-known creators from around town. Rustic Steel's glass and iron art deco sculptures find themselves mingling in the lobby, splashes of color created by local Ray Paul adorn the walls of the hotel and restaurant, while photographic prints by Nicole Abbett are also found throughout the Barrymore. If you think you see a familiar face, you probably do. John Lennon's likeness is a popular sculpture with visitors, located at the front of the building nearest the Straz Center. Take a look at what's on our walls; our art comes from a variety of creators with a wide variety of styles.
